Murder in Mexico

I was lucky enough to shoot a few portraits for Stab magazine a few weeks ago. The portraits were of Josie and Lirio, girlfriend and mate of Dean Lucas, one of the Australian surfers, tragically murdered in Mexico last year. We got to spend the afternoon with Josie and Lirio, as they hung out, going over stories of friendship, love and adventure and most importantly sharing time with Dean.

As the conversation rolled, the common bond between Josie and Lirio was undeniable and it was great to see them share laughter over some of the crazy stories they shared.
